My girlfriend is going buy something to protect the new soft top I installed on her TJ. Best Top calls the material Denim, it is not sail cloth, I'm thinking it is some type of good quality vinyl. Here's a website pic.
Naturally Best Top recommends Best Top's own cleaner and protector but I have my doubts about it's quality.
The primary focus is on longevity. The Jeep community doesn't seem to do much detailing so Google turned up very little. I've had a good experience with my RaggTop kit on my old 2003 Cobra but that was a fabric top.
