2 Questions here.

1. I have used 303 for a couple of times now on the exterior plastic and rubber on my '06 Xterra. It looks great for the first 12 hours, then starts running and looking really bad...whether it has rained or not. I spoke to a afriend of mine who has a similar problem with 303 on his Frontier. Have any of you experienced this problem? Some of my trim is black, and some is gray, so if you have any suggestions for similar products that won't run, please let me know.

2. After I had sealed my car with AIO and 3 coats of SG it felt super smooth. After being covered with pollen, I rinsed the car and then flooded it by not using a nozzle on the hose, followed by "the Absorber" to dry it off. I used some Meguiar's QD and 2 microfibers to clean up some reminants of water and pollen that may have been left. The car does not feel all that slick now. Could that be due to using Meguiar's QD?

Thank you:D

I have noticed myself, that 303 doesn't last very long on exterior trim. Even FK RVL Poly-protectant lasts longer. This is what you wanna use on trim:

As far as slickness of SG, yes it will be gone after a first wash or two. That doens't mean that protection is gone. If you really like Meguiar's QD, why don't you try their new Ultimate Quick Detailer?

I'm pretty sure that this QD will offer a better sllickness, then their old one in red bottles.

It's my belief they all run to a certain extent. I've used 303 ('05 f-150) in a side by side comparison with Vinylex and in my opinion the Vinylex just looks better. I sprayed both with a blast from the hose and the V-X stayed put. The 303 also remained, but was very diminished in comparison to the V-X. .02

However, I'm very interested in this stuff, if anybody could comment.

BLACK AGAIN - Makes Rubber and vinyl look new! Black Again is a rich 3-in-1 polymer formula that is unmatched in the industry in its ability to clean, (http://www.autogeek.net/blackagain1.html)

No running problems with the Duragloss at all? Also, the plastic on my Xterra is a gray...are there any dyes in the Duragloss that you think might affect the color?
As for the QD, I only use the Meguiar's QD for now because I have a whole ot of it. Not sure what I will switch to next.
Thanks!

Interesting, I haven't had any complaints about 303 on my trim or tonneau cover. I actually thought it lasts pretty long. As far as QD'er goes, my staple is QuickShine. It does everything I want from a QD'er, and provides great slickness.

I have found some of the dye products necessary on trucks with heavy plastic use at bottom. (think Avalanche, Xterra, Ion)

Sparkie did a test on a bunch of trim products. Black Again got his highest rating.

I also vote for Black Again. I swear by this stuff and a bottle can last you a long time too

I just received my package today, and haven't tried it yet (well it's not raining in California, but I wish it did), so I won't be able to tell you wheather it runs in rain or not.
I'm not sure how it will work on gray trim, all my trim is black.

These are pics I took with the camerphone this evening after cleaning the mirrors yesterday evening with Armor All Cleaning Wipes, then applying Armor All and letting it sit for about 10 minutes and cleaning off excess. I just wanted to try this since I happen to already have the product. This is the EXACT same result I get with 303. Is this similar to the problems you guys had? Remember, this is less than 24 hours and no rain. http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/582/0608071920.jpg
