ok guys can i use the meguirars little wool pad from the restore head light kit? for window? ill be using ultimate compound on the water spots with my drill.

from my findings it seem like you can use you wool drill attactment just make sure its clean

You can but glass polishing pads aren't expensive.

It will work.
Small tool for such a large surface area...plus the sling factor.
More even pressure and larger surface area using the DA foam/mf.
