At first I would put a towel on top of my garbage toter. I finally broke down a bought a cart. It only cost 71 dollars with free shipping on this website:

I know, I know, what took me so long. I'm really going to enjoy having such a helpful item.

Wow , I like it mate ! One can carry his stuff close to the working spot without having to run to get them .

I didn't realize how much time was wasted walking to the work bench and back until I got a cart. Time is money, buy a cart!
 
I ordered one at the start of the summer from somewhere, was about the same price, used a jugsaw and cut a hole, my wash bucket drops right in. No more bending to soap up or grab the hose!
