Pitted glass fix?

I'm just curious to know if there's something I could do other than replacing a windshield that is pitted? If pictures are needed I can snap some this weekend when I have some time.

Thanks, and I don't have a rotary either just a flex 3401. :)
 
not really. Polishing glass will remove some but the deeper ones will still be there.
 
Cerium oxide. I believe Car Pros has a polish. Go to the AG store and search. All you need is there

You can't polish out pits IME, just scratches. Pitts are too deep.
