-Flexible Backing Plate Rotary 3 ¾ inch Backing Plate 1 14.99
-CCS Yellow Cutting Foam 4 Inch Pad 1 4.99
-CCS White Polishing 4 Inch Foam Pad 1 4.99

-CCS 7.5 inch Yellow Cutting Pad 1 10.99
-CCS 7.5 inch Orange Light Cutting Pad 1 12.99
-CCS 7.5 inch White Polishing Pad 1 10.99
-CCS 7.5 inch Gray Finishing Pad 1 10.99
-Yellow Cutting Foam 4" Pad 1 4.50

I also ordered a couple of other pads to replace a few worn ones for my PC. I think the Makita will save me some time and help me achive a new level of paint correction. All my clients are already really impressed with what I do, but I know I can achieve better results in a shorter amount of time.

Any suggestions for a first time user of the Makita?

BTW, I love free shipping.;)

wait super noob question but whats the diff with a Porter Cable and the polisher you ordered. I have a sears buffer too =(

Nice order there...very nice indeed...looks like your on your way....to the addiction :D

Looking forward to the pictures.

Thanks for sharing.

You know I hate to say it but you really should not open those pads so you can send them back and get the edge2000, I once used all lake country pads, and have since switched to edge2000... I will never go back...

OH, I have been addicted since I was sixteen and needed to make my '83 F-150 look better.:awesome:

I have just been utilizing outdated tools. Not any more. I have been professionally detailing for 2 years now, though.

I'll get some as soon as I do a vehicle.

I dunno. I have tried the edge pads on the PC and to me, they don't feel better nor do they really save me time. I mostly use my LC pads. Maybe the rotary will be different. I might want to use some edge pads since they are always centered. I'll order some here soon. I believe I will like the LC pads though.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions though. Keep them coming.
