My neighbor wants to apply a coating on his new white 2013 GMC Terrain SUV. He's had it for about 4 months. The paint is in good condition, it has some very minor swirls and scratches and the above surface contaminants are not too bad.
I plan on removing the above surface contaminants and I think it should be polished before the coating is applied but not sure if it's really necessary.
I would like to use a polish that I already have so as not to have to buy some. Here are some of the polishes that I have:
1) Sonax Perfect Finish
2) Menzerna PF 2500
3) Wolfgang Finishing Glaze
4) Meguiars M205
I could use some feedback as to which of the polishes mentioned above to use or perhaps another one. I do plan on applying a coating prep after the polishing step.
Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
