GTechniq Fabric and C6 Matte Dash

This is a question for those who have experience using these interior items from GTechniq. I have a client with a new vehicle and I wanted to know for the sake of pricing whether I need to do any special treatment other than vacuuming the carpet to get it ready to apply the GTechniq items. Does the carpet need to be steamed to make sure nothing is in them. or can it just be applied with the vacuum step?
