Knowing everything you know now, if you had to restock your arsenal of detailing chemicals, pads, polishes, polishers, towels and gadgets completely from scratch, which ones would you absolutely must have and which ones would you definitely skip?

That is a BOLD statement!

What are your Favorite and Least Favorite from the Blackfire line-up?

I don't have a least favorite of anything I tried, they all work really really well. Tough to pick a favorite too, but I'd have to say BFMS and SRC Finishing Polish two top favs, and my least, but its still good, just enjoy Ultima more, but the Waterless is okay.....but good enough.

Love most everything from the Polishangel line.
Some old favorites that I never stopped using:
Sonax Perfect Finish
ONR
CarPro Eraser (love using this on windows)
CarPro PERL
Opti-Coat 2.0 (on wheels)
Microfiber buffing pads
Actually trying for some time to use stuff up and consolidated my ridiculous detailing war chest, getting there. So many quality products out there, many many ways to get it right.

I would have loaded up on green and blue hex logic foam pads, and the Rupees blue and yellow microfiber discs. My polish set is good, with a lot of Megs (m09, m80, UP, SX, UC, 205, 105). I'd have bulked up more on Duragloss 111, than on ULW, Zymol Creame than Gold Glass.

I've really honed in on what I like. It makes me wish I had less of the things I don't like as much (note that I still like them!).

I would have bit the bullet and bought the largest containers (most of these come in gallon size) I could find of the following:

- 16" wire wheel brush
- Rigid 6 HP 14 gallon wet/dry shop vacuum
- #0000 steel wool
- Ryobi 1700 psi electric pressure washer

I would have skipped the PC polisher and went straight to the GG polisher ( of course the flex and ruppies would be better if in budget). Megs APC for almost all cleaning. ONR for its many uses. Duragloss wash for bucket washing. Cobra guzzler for drying. Nanosking wash mitt for claying. Megs DUB wheel cleaner for the very dirty wheels. Lake country 5.5 and 3.5 flat pads, mostly orange, white and black. Large Daytona speed brush( I have not tried wheel woolies, they might be a better choice. And really enjoying megs hyper dressing ( I'm a mobile detailer, so I love chemicals that have multiple uses).

O. I cannot forget collonite 845 as the only wax needed.

No waxes or sealants. Just CQuartz coating.

Fan of all CarPro products I have tried.

ONR is great

I love having all the Meguiar's spray bottles for the Meguiar's gallon products. It makes my garage look a lot neater, more organized, and it's easier to know what I'm grabbing without really having to look. The chemical resistant sprayers are great, too - easy to go from a fine mist to a stronger jet.

-I would've saved my money and skipped the G110v2 and went straight to the Flex 3401.

-I wouldn't have bought so many soaps.

- I wouldn't have bought so many QD's.

- Should've used/tried Collinite #845 a lot earlier

I would use

1. Opticoat on cars that durability trumped slickness.
2. I would use GTECH EXO v2 on all cares that the person hand washed and that wanted the slickest most Hydrophobic 2 year LSP life with veryt good mar resistance.
3. Use Total Auto Wash as my go to LSP
5. Use any inexpensive PH neutral shampoo without gloss inhancers. I see very little difference between all the brands I have used-Luso Oro, BF, Poorboys SSS, Ultima Shampoo
6. I would use ONR as my clay lube
7. I would get the 2 Rupes if a pro or a GG 6 and 3 if a hobbyist.
8. I would get a good Pressure washer. Kranzel. It has outlasted 3 cheap HD units.
9. Polshes, I use 105, 205 mostly but also the Menzerna Line. I am a bad example of polishes bc I only do my own cars and have found what worked on mine and stuck with them.

Good Luck.
