Looking to add a new service to my mobile detailing operation. Can anyone give me their personal advice on touching up paint chips on hoods, mirrors etc? Looking to do a single stage repair with airbrush. Thinking it would be a acrylic enamel paint. Not for sure so I'm looking for help. Mixing and clean up steps of overspray would be a great help!

I would fill deep scratches with 1k putty like this, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Pv5gTgA3OpM and then I would sand the surrounding area with p800-1200 grit blend my base and clear and then spray some fadeout or some slow reducer on the repair. There is a nice topic about it on autobody101.com . Here is the link to it u-pol fade out spray • How to Paint Your Own Car, Auto Body Discussion Forum & Videos • AutoBody101.com
. You can probably melt the enamel in the same way with reducer or some mineral spirits. The paint leveler he is using is nothing more then laqceur thinner or reducer. Hope it helps.
