What do you typically do with your MF towels after usage? I tend to hang them in the garage. I'm wondering if this may not be a good idea. Would that allow for them to collect dirt, dust, etc. that coud then be transferred to the car? Putting them in a bag would not be a good idea if they are wet...correct? So, what is the best way to store them in between use?

thanks

I tumble dry my mf's on low or hang dry them in my laundry room.

Once they are dry I put them in extra large ziplock bags by usage type ie. Paint towels together, glass towels together, wheel towels together.

I would imagine that hanging tham in the garage where there is dust particles in the air that could attach to the mf would not be the best idea.

Once my MF's are used, they are kept together in a bucket seperate from all other towels and pads. I then have them washed ASAP, and kept in a small sealed cabinet to keep out dust, dirt and other contaminents they can capture and rub against finish.

As I use them I throw the dirty ones in a woven look plastic basket/tub. Wash and dry them in the evening. Fold them and stack them in another woven plastic tub.
Got the tubs at the $1 store for ------(?). Pretty colors too.

Haha. Gary, if I had a wife then it would be news to me. Im too young to be married. Now if I could teach AND GET my girl friend how to wash my MF and put them away then that would be somethin else!

No, Im just very organized. Allows me to work faster and impresses the customers.

I take my towels from my truck every couple of days and dump them in a container by the washer. Once a week I wash the three loads (grunge, window, drying) and put them in laundry bags. I store most in my truck but my excess grunge gets stored in garage. My wax towels get stacked inside and washed as needed. They get stored in ziplocks.
