I've seen these in a few higher end shops, finally figured out that they're called light tunnels. Some of them look factory made, but others look custom built. Just wondering if there are companies out there that make them?

They're cool. Sometimes high intense light actually prohibits seeing fine scratches. Maybe it's just silver paint

I agree.

It would be pretty sweet if you could independently control the lights, or even have them on dimmers so you could adjust to the paint you're working on.

Might also be cool to have both LED/Fluorescent, and Halogen, and be able to switch them depending on the need at the moment. Just gathering ideas for my shop. I like that these are semi-movable, rather than having all of the lights hard-wired on the walls and ceiling.

Bumping this back to the top, curious if anyone knows who makes these canopies!

Owner of the shop...custom built them to his specs.
