Greetings,

Had my wheels Opti - Coated. They look fantastic! I always think I do a good job until I take my car to a true professional -- Dan Cohen, owner of DnDAutodetailing.com located in Northern Virgina produced a short video.

Why did they put the wheels back on the car and then spray them?

What are the advantages of spray application vs. wiping it on?

i remember Chris Thomas saying no high spots and no wiping, and someone else said something about being able to get into tight spots where applicator application isn't as practical.

had same question about putting them back on the car.
 
Yep, putting them back on made a nice rotating stand for excellent coverage between spokes, but I'd be more concerned about protecting the back where it is hardest to clean.
 
That is pretty sweet, and they look awesome once done.

There are a few things in that little video that really make me wish I had a designated shop to work out of. Maybe one day...
 
Maybe he hand applied the barrels before mounting and spraying?

My other question is... How do you clean the OCP out of the airbrush once you're done?
