Not sure if its in the right section but I need some help. A friend of mine wants me to help her to clean her interior. The interior is in bad shape. What products would you recommend to clean it up. I have chemical guys products fab cleaner and also hand brush and da brush pad.

If that is Crayon on the headrest....you are going to need Professional products

Check out Pro's Choice. They have a stain chart on their website that gives good guidance

I would agitate the heck out of it with the brush on your PC and vacuum thoroughly before you get anything wet

That type of fabric seats has a tendency to re-wick stains, so use as little liquid as possible and put a fan in the car or park it in the sun the speed up the drying process

any other options? besides them

Just the green machine from target

Awsome! That little machine is a bigtime performer. I have ones 4x its price, and I'll vouge for the Little Green any day of the week. Just fill it with hot tap water and go to town. Yeah, you could pretreat, or just do it all with the wand. Either way, I believe you have a great shot at removing those stain-rings. For the pen ink, try hairspray.
If you don't have any pretreaters or chemicals, use one teaspoon of laundry soap in the little green's fill tank. Add the soap after you fill with water.

You will get much better results with Folex.

Available at Lowes, Home Depot, etc

WTH! Look at that mess lol.

+1 on the Folex for sure. If it was me I would use Folex and a steamer on the seats. I would be worried about wicking if you used the LGM.

thanks guys I'm going to try the folex and the lgm I just wont be too aggressive on it.

lets us know how it turns out..curious of the results

Folex might be alright... its mainly used as a spotter for certain stains, and not a full on "shampoo." It's a hit or miss. Idk why it's always recommended here.

Folex cons
works on some stuff, not on everything
its cheap, but it's not dilutable. professional spotters for specific stains are cheaper, and professional "shampoos" are very dilutable and much cheaper than folex

pros
easily available
works great for pre-treating some stains
ph neutral

I've never tried it myself, but i'd look up nathan flannel rotary and wool cloth seat cleaning method.

Another vote for the Folex.

Meguiar's APC is also GREAT in cleaning very dirty interior.

I agree Folex for sure.

I just used Folex in my own car recently and I'm impressed on how well it worked. Good stuff.

I use Chemical Guys Fabric Clean in most stains with great success. I normally dilute it per the directions. I should work on the seats. I'll spray it on and use a brush to slightly agitate and then use a microfiber overtop of a carpet brush to brush the area. I use another microfiber to blot the area dry and then if it's still wet I use a blow dryer to finish drying the area. As far as the Crayon stains, good luck with that one. I've never had one that bad. If the cleaner doesn't work my thoughts would be to try to steam a small area and see what happens. Let us know how it turns out I'm interested.

this is what iv tried and this worked for stubborn spots and i had the same crayon stains and bunch of others - Zep Heavy Duty Citrus Cleaner degreaser . it worked wonders for me with pre treating spots… your results my vary …. i used steamer and Aztec extractor in conjunction with zep...
