I got my Meguiar's D155 and D156 (spray detailer and spray wax) and I am wondering what the best way to maintain my newly waxed surface is (Collinite 845?

Should I use the spray detailer first and then follow up with the wax? How often do you guys typically do this?

I maintain waxed finishes with the Meguiars Spray Wax.

I use the QD to lift off dirt, dry aid, or similar.

Okay so if the paint is relatively clean still and there is just a very light film on lint/dust then I can just use the spray wax?

Not on my rides. Wax is designed to be used on a clean surface. You can either use a detailer or waterless wash product (I favor UWWA+) or do a rinseless wash and use a spray wax while drying.

Alright gotcha...the spray detailer won't strip wax right?
