last summer I applied DP paint coating to my daily driver. Its been very durable through the tough nj winter now that its getting close to a year its still beading but I can feel some roughness on the paint after washing. If I clay will that remove the coating?

I'm not sure but it's probably time for a recoat anyway

Not necessarily. My suggestion: Give it a good/proper washing... use a mild clay bar and inspect from there. I doubt it would remove the coating, but, as Docpeanut said, probably time to strip it all off and do it all again. However, YMMV.

Try a round of TarX and IronX

I will give it a try. If it needs a recoat I will do it. I have been very happy with this coating especially after this past winter

Clay Barr the paint using a lot of line so you don't mar the paint.
It won't remove the coating.

I coated my car three months back and clay barred my hood to test the coating ( Blackfire Crystal Paint Coating)
No issues, coating is still there and no marring.
