Hi.
I have a 92 Olds wagon. The paint has these white marks as shown in the picture. It seems to be the wax. How can I fix it? Regular wax products do nothing. See the attached picture (I hope)
Mick.

Do a search for "clear coat failure" and "oxidation" and you will find plenty of good articles to read on the forum.

It appears to be failed paint, and if that is the case, you will need to have it repainted.

Agree with all the above.

But just to be sure, take a look at the RPO sticker in the glove box, at the bottom it shows the paint code(s). Does it indicate BC/CC? If so...it is clear coated.

Yes that seems to be it. Lots of cars here in hot LA with this problem. Sadly I cant justify a respray, the car is 23 years old and has 215,000 miles on it. What's annoying is the sides of the car which don't get the blasting sun are in fine shape.
Thanks,
Mick
