On my car, the dash material is made of soft vinyl. I used meguiars ultimate protectant, but the material just soaks it's up and doesn't give that same shine when applied to plastic vinyl. Is the dashboard still protected even though the dash is soaking up the protectant? I apply with a yellow meguiars foam applicator.
