I have a c5 corvette i normally cover. its a stretchy cover. I get lots of dust that bleeds through. I'm currently working on returning it.

The question I'm wondering if all you crazy WAXERS cover your car?

Yes I covers my Garage Queen she got two down quilts, a corduroy one with a car cover, though a daily driver/ weekend ride noo I wouldn't cover cause it will only cause scratches from the frequent on and off of the cover just leave it unwrapped in the garage until your C5 hibernates and or try to keep dust down as much as possible

I used too now I'm looking I to items like touchless car cover, carcoon , air chamber, car capsule etc

My daily is a 00 frontier. I dont cover it because i dont want to deal with it early in the mornings when i go to work lol

You can always put one of the clear plastic car covers
over top of your stretchy-cover to keep the dust out.

I bought mine at Mid-America; cost $20.

I no longer put a car cover on my car. The reason being is that the dust will accumulate on the car or cover and eventually start scratching your ride with the slightest wind. I learned that the hard way. I would cover my car in the parking lot and eventually my car had all the spider webs (scratches) I needed.

IMO the moment you finish washing and drying your car and you want to cover it in the garage, then that is OK. Any other time, I will not cover it.

Having only one car, I guess it's a DD, but, most weeks it just sits in the driveway for 3 days straight. It pains me that I have to let that happen so I do use a cover. However, during the really heavy pollen months I make sure my car is as slick as I can get it because it's easier to either blow or rinse the heavy pollen off the car than trying to get it off the cover.... hope that makes some sense.

During the winter months, I use an indoor cover for my garage queen. During the spring, summer and fall, I will use the cover occasionally and pretty much every week I will do a WW. Prior to putting the cover on the car, I will do a more extensive wash and I always wash the cover prior to putting it on the car.
