Happy Easter to everyone,

I spent part of the weekend washing/cleaning my cars and noticed a badge was beginning to come loose.

It is not fully detached and I am thinking of simply adding an adhesive to the loose area without removing the entire "letter", as I may not be able to position it well afterwards.

I cannot use double sided tape. It was affixed to the trunk lid very some kind of adhesive.

The letters are very skinny. It is from my 911 GTS.

My search did not return with any good suggestions on an adhesive.

I'm thinking a silicon would be too thick?

Something that won't harm the paint upon removal but will bond well on a warm surface-the engine gets fairly warm.

thank you all in advance.

3M exterior attachment tape. Pull the letter, cut the tape to size and then reattach the letter. My last Porsche has thin adhesive tape under the letters. It seemed like there were multiple pieces on each letter. I used painters tape to frame the letters before removal so I knew how to realign it when reapplying.

Or call Porsche and ask them to fix it.

I see you have a GM product yourself:) My other fun car has a LS7, that being a Gen5 Z28, really digging that car.

I appreciate all the help and feedback. I will likely end up taking down the letters and doing a proper prep followed by using 3M press and place, a bit expensive but if it works, I'll be happy.
