I am absolutely opposed to using any terry cloth towel of any kind to dry any car. I use only quality micro fiber waffle weave drying towels.

Am I justified or being anal?

Roger T

Both. Justified and Anal. Your paint will thank you.

Go Hawks?

Terry cloth towels have there place, not sure for what, but they do. You are doing what is best for you and your cars paint.

Well assuming you do not want swirls on your paint, you are totally justified! As far as being anal, well I think everyone on this forum would say its anal, but its also totally ok!

Terry cloths do have a place as a matter of fact.. for the interior carpet of course :P Agreed Justified & Anal

you can also use terry cloths for wiping spent product off pads, etc,. keep them away from the paint or anything else that can easily be scratched...

I use them for on-the-fly pad cleaning, interior wipe down, carpet scrubbing, cleaning my bike chain, and drying myself. :)
