This is there 3ph traditional wash your talking about.
Preludio is a 3ph rinseless in connection with Idrosave.

I know that. I'm comparing what EC Details suggested about use of Preludio alkaline/acidic to what Reggy Cox of Labo had said about Primus 2.0 and Purifica.

Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022
I saw a video with Reggy of Labocosmetica talking about Preludio and he said that you generally won't be spraying the entire car with either the alkaline or the acidic solution. Working panel by panel, it's more that you hit any areas with either product depending on what it needs. The front end and the lower panels will most likely get pretreated with Preludio Alkaline. Any of the panels that have mineral deposits, and the wheels will get sprayed with Preludio Acidic.

Where was that? I'd like to see what Reggy has to say.

Talking about Idrosave at the 42-minute mark, Preludio at the 47-minute mark and using Preludio just where needed at the 51-minute mark.

One place where Eddie was wrong I think is his 3ph Wash. in Labo video they say completely wipe off Alkaline before doing Acidic as they can neutralize each other and I don’t think just a good rinse with Idrosave works.
I personally would just skip Alkaline pre wash when I do acidic. But if wanting to do full 3ph Labo recommends 2 rinseless wash and dry. One with acidic pre wash and one with alkaline. Rinseless and dry between each.

Re: Rinseless Washes - 2022
Decided to use Absolute instead of Idrosave. Still a great product. It was this that and DiU that lead the way to these new rinseless.
Are some of the newer ones better? Yes but not enough to buy to replace these if you have or just like trying. Maybe Idrosave bacause it is the only rinseless like a wash and coat.
Don’t remember using 2/3 of the bottle of Absolute……

I still love Ech20. I think the cleaning ability goes a bit unrecognized. Yesterday I wiped down interior and engine bay at 1:30. I also cleaned the front door glass with it and it came out great.
The hazing/streaking is part of how it works. Once you go back over it, it wipes right off with no issues.
Per Carpro:
"Before the final step (noted in the product directions) the solution may dry to a fine haze indicating it is ready to wipe off any remaining product effortlessly!"

I like it too as well. For me as rinseless doesn’t quite compete with new wave of rinseless but will always be in my arsenal.
At its 1:10/1:15 waterless dilution it is way too streaky. I have found this ratio makes an excellent drying aid if not blowing the car dry 1st.
