Do you feel there is any value in maintaining the natural patina of classic cars?Feed back please

-The market, and the value placed, for "Original Unrestored" has seen quite a:
"By leaps and bounds"...surge in the last few years for a few 'marque-names'.

-Some folks, then, must appreciate their patina...IMO.

-BTW: What vehicle(s) are you: Not working on?

:)

Cool vehicle!

Thanks for the link...I missed it somehow.

Are there any Morriss Minor forums that could provide any info
to their auction value---original/restored...for example?

Hagerty may also be a source.

:)

I am with him, except that restored woodies sell for a lot more than unrestored. Just watch Chasing Classic Cars. That being said, is the wood thats in question or the paint? You have 2 different worlds going on here.

That is a cool car!!! I'm with the masses here, patina depends on the vehicle. I'd have to do some research on values to see if the unrestored value and fully restored value would justify a restoration. I've met a few people who have restored cars and ended up spending way more than the car would ever be worth.
