Well looks like it's time in PA. Going to need cut this weekend. I saw people cutting 2-3 weeks ago already! Going to hit 80 Friday! Also, probably time to set up the porch this weekend.

Still snow laying on ground here. We just had a huge ice storm on Wednesday, massive power outage across the region. I still think the odd outlaying people may be still waiting for power. But since Thursday it's been all sun and plus temps, with much warmer weather this week. Be a bit till grass cutting here.

I've been cutting year round. I'm getting tired of my plug in edger. I am eyeing a battery operated one by Craftsman to use along with my string trimmer

I've already mowed my lawn 3~4 times already. My yard thrives in our cool 50~60F weather and all the rain we've had. Probably didn't help I put down the first spring fertilizer about a month ago.

We drug all of our warm weather plants from the house to the back porch yesterday since it seems like the threat of frost has finally passed...I hope. We've been too eager in past years too.

Just cut mine for the second time about an hour ago.

Tuned up the riding mower 2 weeks ago before the first cut, and put the snow blower away. Never used it once all winter......:dunno:

Just finished mowing the lawn too, it's been a once a week thing since December. My mower is a Victa Mustang that uses a Honda motor, I just recently changed the oil, cleaned the air filter and spark plug. My line trimmer, what we call a whipper snipper down under, is a Ryobi 18V cordless. I used to have a 2 stroke petrol, but that got to be a real pain to start. The Ryobi is much easier to use, it's lighter and quieter, but it's a bump feed that occasionally needs help to feed, and feeding new line can get difficult when the marker arrows wear off the bump cap, you need to replace it at least once a year. I keep a replacement on the shelf ready to go.

Just did the big bits on the ride on mower and little bits with the whipper snipper AND got to use my new sign that says (SLASHING IN PROGRESS) why because i'm close to the road and only the smart people slow down.

60km/h zone but bloody dick heads everywhere.

Wow...I have been cutting my grass for the last month here in Delaware.

In South Jersey....mine will be cut next week for the first time
