I've got ALOT more than usual, unique AND rarities, so it's going to take some time to post them off, please give me some time to post them all before commenting so we've got the usual flow in posts, thanks

I chose THIS to open things up, probably because I wore a brand new BRG Jaguar E-type Blipshift shirt:

I’m always impressed by the vehicles that you see at these events.

Awesome as usual!! What a bunch of cool cars, I kind of forgot about TR6's, I don't ever remember seeing a 504 convertible, what a slew of Citroens, and that M1! And NSX! And you threw in that midget Eldorado for Bill and Eldo. What was that Alpha fastback at the end? I'm not sure if I remember that or not.

Thanks for correcting my spelling (seriously, no snark), I'm not sure I ever saw one of them, I found something that 5700 of them came to the US. When I first saw the picture I thought it was a Lancia, I may have been thinking of the Berlina or Scorpion, as they called it here, but it looks like even less of those came here--or maybe there was a Renault that was also a fastback like that, back in the early 80's?

Yeah the Scorpians were RARE here, basis for the 037 Groupe B rally car and Renault your talking about was the Alpine, mega rare and I've been lucky enough to see several of each inperson in my lifetime.

That Alfa GTV6 also had a Calloway turbo option, had a decal on those long quarter windows that said CALLOWAY TURBO, saw one back home in Detroit years ago at a C&C

That stuff from 40+ years ago is getting a little blurry in the rearview, if you know what I mean. Being in the NYC metro area (like you in Chitown and before in Detroit), we always had plenty of unusual cars around, but whether I saw all of them on the road, or in magazines, auto shows, showrooms, I dunno. Back when the C/D offices were in NYC, I was lucky enough to attend the introduction of the Renault Fuego at a dealer here in NJ, who had arranged for Pat Bedard and Don Sherman to be there, so I got to shoot the breeze with them for a bit. The Fuego also had a similar shape to that Alfa...like I said, it's all a bit fuzzy now.
