LOL - Its all in her hands now - gave her the card, explained the cause, and explained the correction process needed.... this definitely makes me want to buy a paint thickness gauge doohickey before touching it! The burnt area was about 2 inches by 1 inch! BARE METAL - sorry for the repetition of words but Im still in shock lol.

Wow, bare metal. You gotta admit...if you're gonna burn paint, go all the way, ha. That's dedication!

To bad the masses don't know and understand just how thin the clear layer of paint is on their brand new car.
And then understand that when new car dealerships swirl-out the paint they remove a measurable layer and when someone like Anthony undoes the damage he has to remove a little more paint.
And all the damage, (removed good paint), was inflicted because dealerships just don't care.
Just another horror story on a detailing discussion forum... one that's repeated over and over every day across this country and probably the world.
Oh well provides plenty of work for pro detailers...

it wouldn't be impossible but I doubt the dealership did that. I'm guessing she knew the novice detailer personally which would explain the ho-hum attitude about returning to the dealer.
Either way, i hope you get the chance to show her a true detail & correction.
