So on the other car I can fit my arm through the spokes and can clean the whole barrel really well...

New car not so much....

TOOL SUGGESTION TIME!

This brush will fit much better than your arm

I'll also endorse this one. The summer wheels on my car have tight spoke pattern and this brush is a life saver. I like using it on all wheels regardless of the design because it will reach all the way to the back of the wheel barrel and it's also helps in cleaning behind the spokes.

Wheel Woolies are my personal favorite.

The speedmaster brushes splatter stuff every where and in your face as the bristles part and snap back and forth. I have both, and my speedmaster brush is relegated to cleaning wheel wells.

Wheel Woolie 3" has a long handle and is excellent for getting deep into wheel barrels.

TOOL SUGGESTION TIME!
In situations like this...

I’ve been known to use the following tools:

Once in the Spring.
Once in the Fall.
Maybe not that often;
Or, maybe, not at all.

I had no idea you could use a torque wrench to remove brake dust!:laughing:

The speed master really makes a lot of splatter. I clean my car with my shirt off and when i am done, there is a lot of dirt specks in my arm.

I like to try the wheel woolies. My wheels are 15 inches with 10 spokes so i think i only need the medium or small one. But they are sold in 3s and are expensive.
