How to write a good title for your thread

In all seriousness, a good thread title will definitely catch my interest, either because it is something I know about, or it is something I want to learn about.

While a thread title can be percieved as a simple thing it's actually the most important part of a post as the title determines who and how many people will utimately >click< on it.
