Sign-up - 2004 Chevy SSR - Thursday, December 8th

The owner of this black 2004 Chevy SSR has a Corvette that he is in immaculate condition. I met Sharif at this car show,

Gold Coast Corvette Club - First Annual Car Show

And while his Corvette is flawless he says the black paint on his SSR could use a little help so he'll have it here this Thursday for an Autogeek Show Car Makeover!

Without PJ there not sure it will be the same I guess were going to have try and make it though the night .

I want to join in the fun, and with all the swirl girls that can make it! :). My heart can take it.

Look like Mike and I are going to have a lot of work to do. Any swirl girls available to help?

They just inspect the final results...

We'll have the owner there to help, I'm not sure if he knows how to machine polish but our track record is one of teaching those that don't now how so they do know how.

I'm sure a few more people will join us... if not I'm part machine.

:)

Just a reminder this project is still on for tomorrow night...

I have not seen the SSR in person but my guess is that it's going to need the major correction step...

:)

Gonna try to make it up tomorrow night and help you guys out.

Cool.

If there are a lot of swirls, I have some new rotary buffer foam pads to test out both medium and small sizes...

Also had a brand new forum member PM me,

mustang bell said:
My name is Jeff I locally own a mobile detailing business in St. Lucie for the past 9 years I would finally like to attend for Thursday night's exterior correction on the Chevy SSR

So we'll have a new guy to help out...

Cool.

New guy "Dave" just called, he's coming and bringing a buddy as they want to learn how to machine polish paint.

Dave has a 1956 Chevy Bel Air, a 1932 Ford Coupe and a 2004 black AMG, one of which will probably be on our TV show...

:)

We had an awesome turnout tonight and the pictures came out great!

Hang tight and I'll post a few before closing down Autogeek's Show Car Garage for the night...

Oh yeah... we have a new Swirl Girl...

The paint on this Chevy SSR was thrashed! But with a little help from Blackfire it's ready to break necks...

Here's how it looked when it arrived...

The paint literally looked like it was washed with a scotch brite pad...
