I am big into audio gear, and every car I have owned has had a full blown system. Because of the complexity with the ELS system in my 2013 TL I almost didn't want to do one.
But I did and here is some pics. Everything was tied in with a Audiocontrol LC8i (soon to be changed to Audison or Arc).

The gear
JL Audio 900/5 HD amp
JL Audio 12" W6v3
Focal K2 Power Components for the front
Focal Access 165s for the back
Audiocontrol LC8i Processor to sum it all together

Was excited to see if the focal tweets would fit or not so I checked them while at the office.

Audiocontrol is mounted on the piece behind the amp.

Added the JL grill and plenty of trunk space left.

JL Audio

Hey Mike this is my 2001 TL, back then they didn't have a dash kit for the car so that dash is one of a kind. Still have the same amps and the W7 in the car, close to 11 years old now.

Very nice set up.

My 2013 GenCoupe set up. Powered by JL Audio 500 amp(mounted out of sight)

Nice system, i have a 10in. kicker with a Kicker 600w amp. It's integrated with the stock Infinity 360W system. Perfect for a young guy like me!

I use to be a huge kicker fan, but their quality has gone down hill. Same goes for a few other big names in car audio.

Is it a 10 inch solobaric with 600 watts RMS? that would be loud in a hatch:props:

It is the Comp Classic series. I've had it for about 7 months now, no problems ever. I don't actually "bump" either, i actually have it set at the lowest bass (amplifier) and my in dash settings are on negative -7 bass. It is still very nice. I simply wanted just a little more out of the stock system.

I love solobaric's

I agree, I use to have a L7 15" about 10 years ago.... nearly broke the back window in the car.

Yea I now just want the bass to blend nicely with the interior speakers, I usually keep mine flat as well.

Clean and simple, the way I like it:props:

Yeah I could definitely blow the trunk lid off with these. Like GC said, I like it with some bass as I listen mostly to rock. I did get a 90's era bass booming cd just to test it out and it will rattle looooose just about everything including your teeth

Looks very I nice, I want to upgrade my car audio.

I only have a 12" 300 watt Kicker

I want, two 10" Alpines type-R's

I listen to everything, rock, rap, classical etc... This song "bumps" btw :)

This is very handy when you don't want to be heard and at the price it's almost a steal.

It lets you control the Amp on the fly

^I installed it myself and also it is very easy to install btw

Very nice setup! I'd love to have some Focal components in my truck. I wouldn't even need the woofer.

Super clean installs in this thread. I wouldn't expect anything less on a detailing forum.

My sister had a solobaric 10" in her charger. It sounded great for a 10 but didn't even compare to my 2 12" kicker CVRs.

I want two 12's now. I tried to keep it simple simon. But I then discovered AGO lol :D

Love this place, I might even write about it in my essay that is due for class. We have to write about a sanctuary that we personally have. More on that later if I do write about AGO.
