What's your FAV microfiber towels

I've got a pair of Cookie Monsters and Sasquatch Maximus. Both really nice.

I'm more confused than ever.

How so?

Sasquatch Towels are very nice. For some reason, they get no respect. I have a lot of nice towels from CG.

Agree Stephen, they have what's called(I think) the Cloud 9 Towel, it's great! I was also at their warehouse this week and got to check out their soon to be released Elegant Edgeless 30x50" drying towel, it is quite nice indeed.

Are you looking for a towel for a specific task or a jack of all trades? If the later, the 600gsm Cobra purple towels excel at almost anything. They work well for WWs / RWs, polish or wax removal, QDIng. Also, I have one of the big ones and it makes a good drying towel. You can't go wrong with them.

Those double sided towel AG sells (grey on one side and blue on the other). Those are tempting. Has anyone tried those?

Was going to post the same thing. It's $5.95ea direct from the source.

The upcharge on towels out there is crazy from some places. There's one type of towel that will go nameless that carry over a $10 upcharge which is just absurd.

that's why if you do some homework (aka:research) you will find prices to be better at some places more than others and that isn't just limited to mf towels either... :props:

Yes, I have them. But, I didn't buy them from AG. They are good for waterless or rinseless washes.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Microfiber Madness makes their micro fiber. I believe they make the wash mitt, but not the towels.

All their products are produced either in Korea or Germany (in Germany production only started in 2013): nothing comes from China.

If their MF are made in Germany, you would think they would say that on their web site.

They do say so.
Went over the entire site and could not find anything that said that their mf's are made in Germany. The below quote sure doesn't sound like they make their own microfiber.

"013 we set another milestone with our microfiber washmitt, which was created AND produced in Germany! "Made in Germany" will play a prominent role in our product range in the future. Stay tuned for our upcoming innovations!"

You didn't go over the entire site:

"Because of that, since the beginning of our company great emphasis is placed to produce our products under fair working conditions and fair wages for the workers. Therefore we produce all products in South Korea and excluded any China, Bangladesh etc. production. Who has seen the TV reports about unaccaptable working conditions and horrible accidents into the clothing factorys, will understand our intention. However the wages are much higher in Korea, the production costs raise up for our products which is reflected in the sales price.

Finally, since 2013 we go a step further and produce the first products again in Germany! Beside the importance for the European business place, we see the advantage mainly in quality increase of our products. Its obviously that we cannot produce for "dumping prices" like in Asia, but the combination of fair wages, humanely working conditions and the high quality standard is worth the additional costs. And we would be happy if you would honor our efforts with a purchase of the originals!"

Like I said, they did say they are making their wash mitts, but again, no mention of making their mf's in Germany. Show me a tag or label on a mf that they sell that say it's made in Germany.. I would then be convinced.

I do understand they are making a wash mitt in Germany, but again, until they actually say they are making MF in Germany it looks as if they design them there (as they have always done) and have the actual "production" done in Korea.

That is of course not saying they WILL NOT (at some point) make any new MF products 'in house', just that it's ambiguous as to what, (if any) MF towels are being produced there.

I like the purple Cobra towels (600gsm) and the rolled edge towels, both of which I like. I have recently tried the Microfiber Madness towels, and I think all future ones will be from that line. They are roughly the same price as the high-end Cobra towels, but I think they are really much better quality. I don't know how they hold up after heavy use because I'm too scared to ever use it (especially the Crazy Pile). It's so soft I just like looking at it in its bag:laughing:

I guess towels should be like cars - they're made to be used! Gotta tell myself that every once in a while...
