SEMA Release of Rupes

I'll have a 75e, to compliment my 15!! Hopefully the price point will be sub 200... $150ish would be dreamy!

Just when I thought I was done buying tools. :buffing:

I may just use the Duetto as a sander and the Mini for the smaller areas.

I was going to pick up the Skorpio and the TA50 but I don't have a big enough air compressor.

Both look very nice, and bet they work great, probably outclassing anything in their size. Of course high quality will cost, that's a given.

I probably won't be getting either, unless my GG 3, or PC XP dies.

More choices are great though,

Will be looking forward to reading the reviews, and user's comments.
Mark

Today at Sema Mike let me try this puppy out. So smooth and very easy to use. I still like my FLex but I will have to get a small Rupes for the little areas now. LOL

Rupes should call it "Little foot" Im the MAN

Meghan--The Rupes LHR 15ES is no where to be found on the Rupes website (even if you do a search). Has it been dropped from the product line???

Its called the MINI and they also have a DUETTO. Got to meet them today. They bad mouthed my Flex3401 so I was turned off by them. They said the FLEX cant do correction. HMMM, I do corrections all the time with it since ive had it. Oh well, I just smiled and went on my way. :xyxthumbs:

Yep thats bad buisness and salesmanship. You never outright bad mouth a product a potential customer has put out good money for. I would have said "While the flex is a quality product we think that you will finds ours to be better" or something along the lines of that.
They lost your buisness with the insult. (and for the pricing they have thats not good)
just my .2 cents

Meghan, if you wanted to send me one of these for testing and review, I would certainly not object :buffing::buffing::buffing:

The price for the Flex is the same as the Rupes 15 LHR ES except when sales are run. Like $349.00 for either.

I totally agree with you guys on the sales thing having been in equipment sales for 23 years. I always say something along these lines" While the FLEX is an excellent machine please allow me to take a moment to share with you what differentiates our Rupes Polishers and why we feel they are a better value for your investment. etc. etc. etc.

Dear Friends

Why is there no mention of price? Are they feeling the product's reception before putting a tag on it?

I got the Flex on sale with a kit and it was about $50 cheaper with all the supplies. I had the Rupes in the cart but changed my mind. I wouldn't mind the Rupes in my arsenal as well. One day when I am bored or if the prices come down. Along with that, I was confused with which pads to buy with the Rupes and what fits. The Flex was ready to go so I hit the button. NO REGRETS though. Like I said, I tried the new Rupes today and it wasn't so great that I would spend more $$ on it. It was just different. It works by itself. That's what cool about it. I do like how the Flex powers thru every thing though. Still, I would be happy with either coming from what I was using.

I got my Rupes on the 15% off sale. Yeah that deal on the Flex was a good one too. Since I had everything I already needed so I went with the Rupes. They are both excellent machines and you can't go wrong with either one that's for sure. I use my PC with a 3" plate for the small spaces and applying waxes and sealants and most likely will until it dies.
