Review: Lake Country Wash Wedge

If you don't mind can you please give me some tips on how to keep an 8 month old KIA pearl black in good condition, swirl free like glass? What accessories do I need? Is it costly? Thanks for reply

Brian on well maintain vehicles I plan on using this as I feel the foam will be soft enough to not scratch or mare the paint in any way.

On other washes like the Aggressive approach I will use my tradition microfiber chenille wash mitt.
 
I admire the fact that Evan J would try a new wash method on a brand new Tesla! Man, that's a leap of faith. I've got a wedge, and I've used it once, but I'm still leery.
 
Thanks for the review, will be including this in my next purchase since it is somewhat cheaper than Opti Mitt that I used all the time.

I am a person that once I find something I like I stick with it but I had to give this a go and I am glad I did. I was like you and I was leery but the foam releases dirt so easily and leaves none behind so you don't have to worry about any cross contamination. I really haven't had a chance to use it much more due to the weather but once the weather breaks I will be continuing to test this out. I am thrilled with just how soft it is and how much soap and water it holds.
 
I'm sure the wedge has been thoroughly tested by Lake Country. Either way, the Tesla clear coat easily corrects, and I'm sure if the wash wedge swirled up the paint, Evan could have easily identified it and corrected it.
 
I purchased it on Evans review, trust me when I first saw it my detailing senses went into full alert. If used properly I see no problems, for me I rinse and inspect after every panel. It really is soft and a pleasure to use. As I said before I bought another one with my last AG order. For $13 bucks give it a try if you don't like it use it on the wheels.:buffing:
 
I just washed my wife's 2014 Aura MDX with the Lake Country Wash Wedge and I think I finished sooner with the Wedge, than with a microfiber mitt. It does release dirt extremely well, and it seems safe despite my doubts about it.

I've been meaning to try one of these out but it seems the little foam squares fold/overlap in. I tried the lake country blue sponge and didn't care for it as it was too thick and you couldn't get into small areas. a $2 lowes or home depot grout sponge has worked well for me and you can also get a razor blade and cut slits if one desired to...
 
Save your money. This thing is a big scam. Just got one last week and could not be more disappointed.
