Hello,
My name is Nelson and I started researching 'how to remove swirls' after getting my Lexus GS350 back from a local dealership's body shop for a quarter panel repair and came across autogeekonline. I've read a few threads and seen numerous videos.
I recently picked up a GG DA polisher (wow, look at that, I'm already using abbreviations!) and several LC 6.5" CCS foam pads (yellow, 'orange', blue, and white). I hope to practice a bit on my 1990 Mustang LX 5.0, whose paint has seen better days, before touching the GS350.
I bought a kit that included Meguiars M105 and M205 and also picked up the Meguiars Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish.
Anyway, I look forward to continuing to learn at AGO and contribute if I can.
Thanks,
Nelson
