I've retired my old wax, so Ive been looking to pick up my new go-to. I layer it on top of sealant so Im not looking for something with longevity such as collinite 845 etc. Here is what im considering:

DP Max Wax
Carnuabavore
Salute the Fruit
BF Midnight Sun

It will be for grey metallic paint. Just looking for something with ease of use, great looks & moderate to good durability. What do you guys think?

I have not used any of your choices but have read great things about Maxx Waxx and because its from a well established company like DP, you can't go wrong. All DP products I have and have used have exceeded my expectations.

Yea, DP makes great products which is why I have their wax on my list. If it works as good as their Glass coating/polish I have of theirs Im sold.

My truck is wearing DP max wax right now (over BF sealant) it's a solid wax and looks good (prepped surface).

Why not collinite 915? I'm interested in this wax also, how it should compare with OP choices?

Thank you in advance.

BF MS is the best of those 4 likely. Salute the Fruit is an unknown entity. It may be great - bit not a ton of reviews. I have Capture the Rapture and it may be the best looking wax ever. However, it's finicky to work with and durability is poor. I'm not going to recommend something not on your list, as all those waxes are probably pretty darn good.

A lot of people rave about Sonic's wax as well. Hmmm. Now I can't decide.

As far as what you have on your list. I have DP and BF. My car is silver/grey and my truck is brown/bronze. Max Wax is easy to use, deep gloss, pretty durable and very affordable. The BF is effortless to use, very deep gloss, a lil more durable than DP, but more then twice the price of DP. As far as using as topper, if budget is up for it, BF all day. They are both really good, but IMO, BF is the better of the two.

I put two coats on my wife's light green Nissan two months ago.
The paint just popped. It is still beading like crazy outside 24/7.

I agree with above.

Depending on budget, DP or BF.

From the ones that you named I perfer Midnight Sun. Max Wax is a good wax also. I've used both. Midnight Sun seems to be a better quality wax to me. You can't go wrong with Max Wax either. Max Wax will save you some money.

I wouldn't hesitate to use any of the waxes you listed. I can't help but wonder why Pinnacle Signatue Series II is not among them.

Why not Pinnacle Souveran?

Not really looking for a "show wax" as the durability will only last me like a week. Plus its better suited for non metallics/darker colors imo

Max Wax is a hidden gem. Seems it always flies under the radar.

Yea, I actually forgot about that one I may have to put it into consideration & look at some reviews

Of the waxes you've listed:

Drew's Carnaubavore Wax.

Here's a few photos of a shade of grey metallic (Light Pewter Metallic) wearing Carnaubavore:

BTW
I'm curious to know the name of the old wax that you've now retired.
