Thinking about trading in the CR-Z for a Fiat 500 Abarth, thoughts?

No Accessport for the Abarth. Kind of surprised by this. I thought there would be a market for it.
They do have tunes which require a flash but since I already have the piggy-back and I'm happy with it I'm good for now. The one tune makes BIG power on a stock car. IIRC it's like 50 hp and 80 ft/lbs of torque but I wonder how much work the little turbo has to do to do that

My next perf mod is going to be a hi-flow downpipe with cat. Even with a cat and O2 spacers you still get a cel, can take 800 miles to turn itself on, that tune I spoke about earlier keeps that particular light off though, I do like that. The sound it makes with the hi-flow cat is supposed to be awesome. I watched the video on YouTube and loved it, they also has a cat-less DP as well and I can't imagine a DD with that on, I mean I like loud and sounding good but even with a Bolra resonater it's supposed to be overly obnoxious.

Time will tell but in a few weeks I'll be getting a fresh set of plugs installed, well they have 3k on them but I saved $75.00 as I paid $15.00 for OEM plugs with 3k on them, new is $100.00. I'm not trying to cheap out here but it just made sense and cents

It's in a section called OFF TOPIC but don't worry, a member of the AG staff will get a hold of you soon and hopefully you get another well deserved time out by the staff here.

You see not only is this a detailing forum but because most of take pride in our rides we are also car guys (gals) This is pretty simple, don't click onto the post and you'll be better for it, pretty simple. FWIW I spoke to a fellow forum member this evening about the car and probably became a buddy of the guy, see how that works out

GSKR. Just like midget porn, if you dont like it dont look at it. It doesnt affect your life.

This thread has:

-turned into a build thread

-answered questions that have led to 1 purchase and possibly another purchase, first hand information has proven to be helpful to other forum members.

-gotten people out to experience the Tail of the Dragon and surrounding roads.

-established good online friendships

Kinda like Nancy Reagan being dragged through the mud by the Washington Post in their obituary for her, GSKR has seemingly done this TWICE and for what?

No hate here just wondering that's all.
There's nothing to wonder about. I don't expect you or anybody else to go and read every single page here. But to those people who have followed the thread they know what the thread has turned into and they're okay with it even Mike Phillips has checked in on this thread.

Ok, now that you've come in here twice and now know what the thread is all about you can steer clear of it, have a blessed day :thankyousign:

I would have done the same, brother. There's time to spend and time to save. That's being smart with your money, right there. :props:

Oh yah, downpipe + tune is going to be fun. A must for turbo owners. I used to run EcuTek before going with Accessport. The ability to switch maps on the fly and erase codes is great. Of course it does cost a pretty penny to have these features.

Man, I remember spending 6+ hrs road tuning with the tuner. One thing I will say all that work really does produce a noticeable difference vs dyno tuning. A punchier power delivery.

Looks like I'll be removing the side stripes so the difference in colors aren't so noticeable. There's a pic of the owner of NGEN, whom I got my wheels and most of my parts through, where his car is at a show with the red wheels and NO red stripe on the side and I believe that's the route I'm going. I will leave the over the body stripes on the car because they don't directly clash with the wheels, think OB1KANOBI...those wheels match with the stripe color, move along, move along😝

Now I still may have the dual matte black stripes done to replace the over body stripes with a gloss red chased....stay "tuned" 🇮🇹

There's small and then there's SMALL, sm-allView attachment 41819

Here's a pic of an Abarth with my wheels and no stripes on the side, what do you guys think? My car does have the red mirror caps but they are more pure red though.

I kinda like the stripe :D
I know and I did get used to it not matching exactly over time but what do you think about my other stripe idea Monica?

Not sure... I need to see it.
Well noone has done the pair of matte black with the red chasers on the outside on this car yet but I got the idea from the GT350 Mustang from this year's model.
