I`m going to get more info from Wayne tomorrow.Robert D. from Impressions in Palm City and I raised $325.00 last night at a dinner we held and we presented it to Wayne today.(His Daughter has Autism)The video is on top of this page.I was going to leave at that then Bob from Flex said I gota do more,so they as well as others committed to donate of which I will pick up more on Sunday. It was just an idea that I had the other day with Robert and now it`s snowballed late today into an auction with sponsors wanting to donate. Will see where it goes as I was just going to raise some money last night but now it`s growing and it`s a good thing I think for all involved.I dont need anything thats donated nor would I keep any.(I got autogeek in my back yard with access to everything I could ever dream of needing at any given time)It`s good to be friends with Mike and Max.I will get as much as I can and throw in boxes with winning bidders.

I will ask Ray tomorrow if I can drag him away from the food trucks. You know he`s the one to give RAYVIEWS on anything food related.Seriously though he was manning a booth today.

It's a looooong shot. Ask if you can

You mean the Guy with the whitest teeth on TV? A funny story though is my 7 year old son asked him at last years show..."What`s your favorite car?" Barry says 57 Chevy. My kid says my Daddy has four of them and one is right over there.

Just to update this thread...

Autogeek is going to match all the $10.00 car registration fees for Saturday and Sunday donate the matched money to Autism Speaks.

Saturday we had 250 cars confirmed at the show! With Autogeek matching the registration fees,

250 x $10.00 = $2500.00

This is just for Saturday and this is JUST for registrations. This doesn't count all the support from everyone else attending and all of our forum members.

So join us if you can to really make this a blowout event raising some much needed money for a very worthy cause.

Edit: It was brought to my attention that the monies donated to Autism Speaks would be what Autogeek provided via matching the registration fees, not the registration fees themselves.

:)

Just got back with a fair amount of products for the auction. Most all vendors including Meghan came through for you guys and Autism Speaks.I will post ASAP but one of the food vendors hit a water line that soaked my car.Being blessed as I consider myself a friend was driving by and saw my car under siege from rusty ground water and starting calling my name. One Guy stared rolling up my windows as I was collecting items for the auction and I did not notice.I recognized his voice as he called out my name. Now as you know I must clean my car as I have my priorities. But good stuff from sponsors coming your way.:buffing:
