Good afternoon to all!!

I am rushing through this Show 'N Shine a little and may not be able to answer your question for a while as I am leaving town for a week, so don't be offended if I don't reply right away.

Here is the story. A good client of mine contacted me and asked if I could take care of his wife's SUV. She is an "on the go" very busy mother of 5 and he is a very busy man as well. After a brief conversation we agreed, sight unseen (but with a good understanding), what his expectations were. From his description I was really waiting for a disaster on wheels. I planned my crew of 4 for a whole morning and we were ready!!!

Tools we used:
Tornador black Z-020 Tornador Black Car Cleaning Gun, Z-020 Tornador Black
GG6 (gen 3) Griot's Garage 6 inch Random Orbital Polisher, Dual action buffer, DA polisher
Carpet brushes White Standard Carpet Brush
Interior brushes Carrand Deluxe Interior Brush, carpet scrub brush, upholstery brush, rug brush, carpet cleaner brush
Horse hair brush Natural Horse Hair Interior Upholstery Brush
Mytee 8070 Mytee Lite II 8070 Hot Water Carpet Extractor, carpet cleaning machine, hot water carpet cleaner
.... and a variety of microfiber towels
**let's not forget the Qtips and small painters brushes

Products we used
Folex

What did we have to contend with? If it had to do with kids, it was in there. It ranged from dry cereal to gold fish, to gummy and hard sticky messes. We had the obvious chocolate milk and cola spills and even a nice formulate spill on the seat where the youngest sits. We had dirt on the walls, the ceiling, the door panels, the speaker grills, the leather and vinyl... you can see the damage below! Before I forget, we even had a nice little venomous spider to contend with :nomore:

So what did the SUV look like? and how did it come out?

Hope you enjoyed!! Leave your comments and questions and I will be glad to follow up on them ASAP

Thanks!

WOW. One of the main reasons I don't think I could do this for a profession is dealing with interiors that. Unbelievable job you did, you deserve a medal or something. Thanks for sharing.

Holy Crap!

Claude your a better man than me.........I probably would have said no to that one....then again I like challenges.

Very good turn around!

Thanks! My real profession involves the Dr in front of my name. I detail on the weekend for fun (and extra money)

Very good turn around!

There was no way I could say no! The husband is a great customer of mine.

Thanks! No medal necessary. Just another day at the shop :dblthumb2:

I did forget to say that the initial pictures were after 15 minutes of trash removal which the customer's kids were not so happy to do.

Excellent. I enjoy correcting and polishing paint for a hobby, interiors...not so much.

I hope you took a good, long, hot shower after dealing with that mess. I think I need to disinfect my laptop now....guh!

Its sad the way some people don't care for their vehicles though you really saved this one from its misery

These are my favorite kinds of threads, to see such an amazing improvement. Having three young kids and a large SUV (Infiniti QX56) I know what a pain it can be trying to keep up with it.

Very good work Claude!

Unbelievable turnaround, sorry, but when looking at the before pictures I thought it was not possible to do what you did.

Congratulations on your work.

Thanks for sharing.

Best wishes.

I don't know which I'm more impressed with... The way the interior turned out or the fact you made the kids take the trash out . Think they learned anything?? Great job on both!,

Great work and excellent transformation. Care to explain your technique on the cup holders? Thanks!

excellent work dr. i did a honda van a while ago.. i still have nightmares.

It breaks my heart to see how people can spend all that $,and not take any care of it

Just when I think I have seen the nastiest, filthiest, most disgusting interior ever, someone always tops it. This was a toxic dump site if there ever was one.
That's an amazing job you and your crew did. :dblthumb2:

Nice cleanup Claude! While it's not the dirtiest I've seen or worked on, it's always a challenge to get ALL those crevices that hide the smallest of dirt as well as the layers upon layers of it!
With all that being said, I really do enjoy seeing your work, however,,,,, I want to hear more about this venomous spider you encountered! Do tell more sir!
