Tail of the dragon

With all this Dragon talk I had to check my calender and its 94 more days till our run, can't wait as I once again have a car with power, well to me anyways and since it only weighs 2500 lbs, 185 hp and 200 lbs ft of torque (estimated) will make the run alot better, I mean ALOT better. No more will I be yelling TORQUE when I'm going into an uphill hairpin with my foot through the floorboard, LOL!

Looks like my buddy in Tenn will be joining our run, with his new 15' Mustang GT Trak-Pak...if he can get it in time! If not, he'll bring his newer Focus, a car more than capable of carving up the road, plus he's been out there dozens of times!

I can't wait to go this year, you guys have NO idea!

Our local club heads up a few times a year, always an enjoyable trip, I was stuck on-call last fall but my friend had Killboy's crew catch a great shot.

Wow, small world refreshauto as I have a cousin that lives in Robinnsville. A gorgeous tiny town up there. On subject the TOTD is a must do if ever in the area. :xyxthumbs:

Looks awesome but how do you avoid getting pulled over? Youtube video shows a guy passing 7 cops in 11 miles.

Was it a bike?

You do see more cops on the weekend, why I don't know because there's lots of sightseers on hogs and trikes, so its not like you can really hustle it. I've heard its crossing the double yellow where they come down hard on you as they should!

I've been going since 2003 and only in the past 2-3 yrs have I seen more cops. One way to completely avoid cops AND hang it out a bit more...go at night! I say this NOT to condone driving wrecklessly, please use common sense while on the Dragon, thank you!

This particular video was driving a car. But watched others of bikes and didnt see any cops. Seems like it would be for them because with turns like that the speed limit is low and everybodies driving patterns are exactly the opposite.
 
Its the most fun you can have on 4 wheels w/o Shakira being in the car!
