FLEX Announcement for SEMA - Can You Guess What it is?

Your favorite tool company, FLEX, has a big announcement planned for SEMA this year! Can you guess what it is?

Edit: Bob E. from FLEX North America wants YOUR input on what the tool should be called. Come up with a cool name and if your idea is selected, you will WIN the new tool after it is launched at SEMA in November.

PS: I still can't tell you what it is. ;)

:)

can i do a test on it, i promise to do a full write up on it.......haha jk

cant wait, looks like i will be adding to Flex Family

Hmmmmmmm I wonder could it be a *******************?

Is this a giveaway or just a random guessing game :)

Large throw DA for sure. Can't wait to see in person!! :)

Just in case it's a giveaway I'm gonna say its a small rotary, kind of like the 3403 but with a larger RPM range. Hopefully it starts around 600 RPM so you can really Jewell the paint.

3402 or 3404 or PE-15 !?

I don't know, I need something like a 'foolproof' rotary tool, or electric 2 to 3" small DA polisher that really rocks, well engineered, 'well think' and well made.

Otherwise, Flex hasn't shown a 'Free-Spindle' for detailing purposes yet, and this may be a pathway to reach entry level customers...

Updating the actual 3401 should be interesting as well, even lower noise, even lower vibration, even powerful motor, even more rotation at slower speeds (making the more powerful motor work quietly) ...

One thing I can say: CAN'T WAIT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS!

**Two things: Whatever it may be, it's Flex, it's for car care, and I WANT IT!!

Please, tell us what it is ahhaha

Kind Regards.

I hope their announcement is to dispel the rumor that
Chervon Holdings Ltd. will be forming joint ventures
with the following Countries:

-Democratic People's Republic of (North) Korea
-Socialist Republic of Vietnam
-Lao(s) People's Democratic Republic
-Republic of Cuba

Just purchased a 3401 from AG from recent 15% off no exclusion.. haven't tried it yet but I hope the new polisher is not a direct replacement of 3401. Very interested to see what it is

I almost pulled the trigger on a 3401 but I guess I will have to wait and see what comes out.

It will be a small force rotation DA, maybe a 2" or 3"

Sent from my HTC One using AG Online

If I were you, I'd wait as well. IMO, you're right standing pat waiting before the next move.

By the way, I believe 3401 is an amazing tool and always (not infinite, please!) will have it's place at any detailer's arsenal, like the PCXP still has...

Unless Flex makes a total reformulation on everything we know to date (still too early for this to happen at car world), it's almost impossible the 3401 will become obsolete after SEMA this year.

Good luck on your wait, count on me. I hope they don't disappoint you (US).

Kind Regards.

SEMA is still 2 months away

I wonder if the news will leak out before then?

Who will be 1st to announce it?

I bet Mike P has a piece of paper in his files that guarantees he won't be the 1st to let the cat out if the bag

I think it's a line of polishes and pads to go with their machines.

I don't think it's a new machine.

I will have to say it will be a small gear driven DA that will accept smaller 3" pads.

Whatever FLEX releases I must have it.
