PPE for Meguiars D140 Wheel Brightener

I always use gloves when detailing and have been using a 3m particle mask 8511 for bad interiors and non-acid wheel cleaners. I picked up some D140 only for the most neglected wheels.

Should a respirator be used with D140, vapor and particle? Or will my 3m particle mask be ok so I'm not breathing the mist.

It is pretty damning of the system that you can manage to have got hold of something so nasty, without anyone asking if you are equipped to deal with it (this is not your fault, the system is failing, IMO). The answer is that you should check the MSDS - the document will be available online.

IMHO:
No way is this a pointless thread!

If nothing else:
It's a friendly reminder of the possible dangers/risks
often found lurking in car-care products.

That guy is just looking out for his kids - if he knew anything about what he was at, he would realise that the damage he has done will be seen later in life, quite possibly demonstrated by death at an earlier age than would otherwise have been the case.
