It's times like this that make me wish we could electrify our rides to like 1,000 volts. Walk outside and just find a set of keys and smoking shoes on the ground.

I’m hoping it was a careless accident rather than malicious but still doesn’t make it better.

Being from Detroit it pains me to say yes, yes it is. I haven't been to Cobo since they refurbished it but I hear it's great. I think they mean biggest literally, McCormick center is stunning, 2 halls with a concourse in the middle. I've gone every year since coming to Chicago in 2009-10.

Then there's the food afterwards, we went to Real Urban BBQ because our buddy Kevin hadn't been there yet. Had a burnt ends sandwich, spicy pickles, sweet potatoe mash and creamed spinach and Coke because this place is also an upstanding joint.

Haha! I’m sure you found some good food Roger!

I think the closest DECENT auto show to me is New York.
Philly’s is held the same weekend as Detroit’s which is ridiculously bad timing... no wonder we get leftovers.

On another note, drove the RS today to the gym. It was pouring rain.
This car has that planted feel of a German car for sure. Was a great little drive.

It’s gonna get to 60 today... too bad it’s pouring or some cars would be getting washed.
 
FYI @Klasse Act- I need to come visit you for the food alone!
 
That's a rare color for the R53 (I know the S is the R53, can't remember the code for the non-S)

Yup, Solid Gold Metallic was only offered for one year on the R50s ONLY.

The Philly auto show has to be overhauled for sure. Sometimes I go but, it's not a must see you might be better off going to a dealer.
 
Well the RS is at the dealer... in for the head gasket fix.

I got a Magnetic Escape for a loaner.... which is exactly what I have :laughing:
