PBMG Acquires Autopia.org from 3D International

Alexia reports autogeek.net global ran is 50,148, autopia.org 268,446, and autopiaforums.com 284,757, autogeekonline.net 87,267.

Congrats to the PBMA family on the acquisition.

Now I will feed the fire in hopes of seeing HD products being sold by PBMA.

Congrats to Bob and the staff of PBMG!!! This is huge!!!

:applause::wave::bowdown:

It'll be good to get to see and talk to
some of the banned members again?

Bob

Bob--as far as I know certain members were banned by a previous owner of Autopia.org and have been welcomed back for some time now since 3D owned the site.

It really is a pleasant site--no drama, no trash talking of AG and AF (that I've seen) and very helpful pros willing to share their knowledge.

This is the best news to come out of the annoucement!!!

I sure hope it's true. Now on Autopia.org if you know a good source of MF Towels or if someone has a sale on polishers or a good source in general for products you can post it even if they are not a sponsor with no fear of retribution. I guess time will tell if it remains truely "Open"

I would love if they would carry at least the HD line. They are top notch paint products especially.

True...
But there are certain of those Autopia.org members that are currently banned from AGO.
Will PBMG's Welcome Wagon Committee come a-knocking on their doors?

Bob

AGO and Autopia forums will remain separate as they always have.
Autopia members from both Autopia forums will have full access to the new Autopia forum when it is launched. If anyone has any problems we will be glad to help out.

Congrats to the entire PBMG on this. It will be nice to see Autopia come together as a whole.

Meghan, you gotta know I'm not picking on you. You can just envision a Mom talking to the kids as they jump up and down shouting, are we there yet? :)

Oh yes I know, unfortunately I do not have a date set in stone, we are working on a nice makeover and dont want to rush it.:xyxthumbs:

I've read every post in this thread and it appears that it is AutoGeek that acquired Autopia but not a single post says that. Is my assumption correct? I keep seeing PBMG but I have no idea what that is - I'll assume again that it must be AutoGeek.
