Zora Arkus Duntov Corvettes

Love the interior color accents, the over head shot and color of the car. IMO the calipers should be that blue but other than that...NICE 👍🇺🇸

The accents are beautiful. I'm getting tired of that dark grey metallic. It's a sharp color just getting tired of seeing it on every model out there

Why not run the paint scheme that they had in 1996, or the original Grand Sport from 1963?

That may be one of the OEM-painted
caliper colors options.

Looks good but I don't think I'm sold on those head rests.
:iagree: ...
an embossed GS would be my preference.

They just got rid of the "Cyber Gray";
and now they have the "Watkins Glen Gray":
Might just be designated for this GS-edition.

Yea...too bad they didn't run the original GS
paint scheme for the C6 versions of the GS.

Every time I seem to see a picture of a original Corvette Grand Sport it's that blueish silver color

Out of the 5 originals I don't see one done like the 1996.

Just like today:
Each race team back then had their own
paint schemes that sometimes changed
over the years by subsequent owners.

Ex:
AJ Foyt drove for the Mecom Racing Team's (#2)
in this 1963 Grand Sport—#3 of the originals—at
the 1964 Sebring 12 Hours race.

RSC Photo Gallery - Sebring 12 Hours 1964 - Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport no.2 - Racing Sports Cars

IMO:
It's paint scheme looks like it was the
inspiration for the paint scheme on the
C4 GS's.

A co-worker found a story about a huge collection of Corvettes found. The collection was won by a VH1 viewer who won a Corvette from each year, so at the time it was 1953-89. They were all rotting away, VERY sad. At the time the collection was worth $600K. Not sure why someone wouldn't just take the ones you really like and sell off the rest, hmmmm.

wonder where Chevrolet of the USA was at?
[IMHO:
Being that Europe is now almost a lost cause
(thanks to Merkel's, et al, immigration policies)]...

I overheard that Chevrolet of the USA
was actually going to have these same
posters printed-up with the correct years
on them...for domestic distribution.
