Dedicatedperfection: 2011 Kia Forte

This vehicle belongs to my neighbor and became interested in having their vehicle detailed, as they are always in impressed by the outcome of various vehicles that I work on. They decided it was time for theirs to be properly taken care of. After all it has not been washed in at least a year as far as they can remember.

This one was a bit of a challenge trying to get the wheels cleaned up. It took a good bit of elbow grease to get the wheels brought back to life and they are still nowhere near perfect. For that they would need to be pulled but this was not in the budget. Tim e spent on wheels was the better part of 1.5 hours

Once ready the vehicle was hosed down to knock off the heavy dirt and foamed with CarPro Snow foam and left to dwell. For the claying process I am using the new to me clay alternatives in form of the 6” clay pad driven by the 3401. Smaller areas are being done with the sponge. Each of these was in the medium grade from Nano Skin. Boy does the medium pad driven 3401 knock out contamination in a hurry.

The AIO stage was handled by BLACKFIRE Total Polish & Seal motivated by the 3401 and blue light cutting pads. For that added luster, the vehicle was wiped down with the new BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Carnauba spray wax.

Total time spent was 5.5 hours with the help of forum member Focusst14.

Super work Mike!

Looking at the before pictures I am thinking why, why, why would an owner not take just a little bit of care with their investment.

Again nicely done by yourself and Focusst14!

Another beautiful job my friend! That BF spray wax really made it pop!:)

Awesome work Mike, thanks for sharing!

Superb work Mike!, very intuitive picture follow-up and jawbreaking results, thank you so very much for sharing detailed process.

Unreal that someone would let their car go that long unwashed, excellent turn around though, it looks great!

Stunning outcome, Mike, as i have come to expect from your work! A great comparo shot would be to put the before pic of the front bumper with an after! Wow!

How long did this take? How much can one expect to make on a job like this?

Thank you sir!

I too was wondering the same thing. Sometimes people just see a vehicle as a way to get from point A to point B. Nothing else.

:dunno:

Looking good sir.

Thank you Scott.

Thanks!

5.5 Hours.

That will vary on depending on a magnitude of factors. Where are you located, how big is the city, how you market yourself, etc.

Excellent as always!

Interesting tires - is that a German brand?
