CarPro Essence!

This sounds exciting
It might make me stop using 3d adapt. ..which made me quit using carpro reflect (not as shinny as adapt, and less correcting range )

Anyone know what the longevity on this is supposed to be if used as a standalone LSP?

Just when I thought I was done buying detailing products, Carpro has to come out with everything I ever wanted all in one bottle. I'll be buying this product to test out on the rental van fleet for sure... Thanks a lot Hoytman!!!
You're quite welcome, sir Dave.:xyxthumbs:

Sounds great on paper. I'm not doubting it, but lets see how it cuts and finishes and how these durable resins work out. I don't buy that it polishes and leaves a "layer" Sio2 Quartz protection. Polishing removes Sio2 Quartz protection, durable resin that is part of the polish can remain to offer some protection, and the Quartz is blend into this resin that is not completely removed by the polish. So the protection is the resin + quartz. Saying it leaves a layer of Sio2 Quartz protection is little misleading to me. Maybe Avi can clarify.

This sounds like a winner for my AIO package. But $20 for 5 oz is ridiculous

It uses similar abrasive technology as Reflect leading me to believe that less than an ounce is more than enough for an average vehicle. I would not be surprised to get 5 vehicles maybe 6 out of it. Even if it were half of that remember, you are getting correction AND protection for a year or more. You'd be needing more than one product to come anywhere close to this with any other products which would undoubtedly costs far more than $20 not to mention take more time (which is money too). So all in all I feel that it's quite fair when you break it down.

If the durability claims are true, then this is better than any other AIOs amd would be better suited for 2-steps or more expensive one steps.

Compound then polish with this and get better than standalone sealant durability.

Charge more and this would be awesome.

Im eager to try this. But have some questions/statements:

1) Is this SMAT or DAT or a combination?

2) With all the different paint hardnesses out there.. and then of course Jet black cars, I wonder if one would find that they're wasting this product if it doesn't finish down Haze free. I rarely use an AIO, but D151 is the product i currently have on hand, and depending on the paint, it doesnt always finish down haze free or LSP ready. It would really suck to have to polish after this AIO.

3) If its a true paint coating, I wonder what its made of.. ceramic, quartz, ??? If it dusts just a miniscule amount, would the dust particles crystallize and could it mar the surface?? How long does it take to crystalize? What if it crystallizes on your pads during a break?

Pretty sure its,DAT as thats what Reflect is
Its a polish with SIO2

In a question I just recently posed to Corey in the Carpro Forum, my interests were knowing if Essence could be used in variety of manners depending upon the level of correction needed, or not needed, (machine or hand) to then prep a vehicle that already has CQuartz protection, and that one then wishes at some point to replenish that coating with a follow up CQuartz application on top?

The answer is yes.

Thus, with all those who use one of the CQuartz Coatings as protection, this sounds to me as "The" product for all CQuartz users to have on hand in their arsenal.

Sounds like there's many great options at hand with this product, that it can be used in a number of ways, and not just as an AIO.

The6 have a f.a.q posted

Thanks just took a look at that.

Looking forward to the reviews.

Would be nice if this offered some sort of marr resistance. I have a jet black truck that is nearly impossible to keep swirl free.
