So do AG sell the blue masking tape i see everyone using? Searched for tape in the shop and got 132 matches of everything but tape...
 
They don`t sell it. But you can get it in Norway. Its 3M tape.
 
It just painters tape. You can buy it at about any store that sells hardware goods. such as Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, your local hardware store etc.
 
I just went to Home Depot and got a 4 pack of it along with my gallon of Folex.
 
No we do not, but like everyone said grab it from Home Depot or Walmart.

Easier said than done. Does AG want to cover my plane ticket? I'll be sure to stop in and say thank you on the way home.:D

What no Walmart in Norway?? Let me know next time you order and I will locate a roll or two to donate to the Norway cause! :p
 
The tape dont have to be blue Thomas_K. Personally i shop masking tape at Europris. Costs 10-12NOK ($2) for about 20-25 meters and they have rolls with different width.

Yeah. I've tried tape from Europris. Leave it on a little too long and 50% of the glue is left on the car. Never again. I'd rather pay a little more and get quality.

Hmm... weird! Never experienced what you have Thomas... But i have only had the tape on for about 4-5 hours on the cars i have done.. How long did you have the tape on?
 
Found the blue painters tape at Coop Obs, cheap too (but dont remember how much it was)

3M Painters tape is a 7-day tape that you can leave on. It's the best tape around but it is not cheap in cost but worth the money.
 
If you can not find the blue use the green, i find the green does not leave as much glue behind.
 
The blue tape seems to leave a residue behind most of the time for me, even using it on other things such as the house when it was painted. I have so much blue tape though lol, I'll pry grab some of the green after others told me it doesn't leave residue.
 
Lowe's sells a lavender/purple colored tape that seems to leave less residue than the green or the blue. It doesn't hold quite as well though.
 
I've seen the 3M Blue Painter's tape at Montèr, for 129kr! About 20$. I think that's a bit too much, so I went to Europris instead..
...and picked up some Turtle Wax while I were at it.. :P I kid! I kid!
 
Do you have some kind of car store like Autozone or NAPA equivalent there? I got my 3M blue tape at the local Autozone for about $3 US.

Painter tap at Coop OBS too, did i say that before?

And the only USAish we got here in Norway is MC D, Burger K and Subway S....
