McKee's 37 Waxes, Compounds, Coatings

McKee’s 37 is the culmination of Detailer’s Pro Series and XMT Car Care. We took the very best from each line and added several all-new products along the way.

With as much time as I have invested in McKee's 37, I almost feel like I could call it my own. I'm here to answer any question you have about any McKee's 37 product. :)

To say that I'm excited about this launch would be an understatement. Bring on the questions. :righton:

Kinda random question, but why does it call McKee's 37?

Wondering meaning behind the number.

Would you recommend the waterless wash or the final gloss quick detail spray for daily use? I currently have a coat of collinite 845 and use CG Hybrid V7 daily on my vehicle.

Nick, I think I know what the answer is but just curious, are any of the products the same but just relabeled or are they all new formulas?

I've already tried a few of them and I can say that the Gloss Tire Gel is great stuff and different from the DP.

I was also impressed with the polish and compound. They seem to be different than any other house brand.

It took 37 years, 37 days, and 37 minutes to develop the line....

Just kidding. ;)

I'm sorry, but I'm not able to disclose that information at this time. My employer (ahem) made me sign a few papers saying I couldn't....

Waterless Wash, absolutely; Detail Spray, once a week (it's pretty substantial stuff, you wouldn't want it to "build up").

Some formulas are all-new (like the Gloss Tire Gel you mentioned) while others have been tweaked (ie: Xtreme Foam Formula). Not a single formula went untouched. :dblthumb2:

curiouser and curiouser !!

What about the xmt spray wax? Is it now the Fast Wax?

Yes! XMT 360 Spray Wax made its way into McKee's 37 and is now known as Fast Wax. The formula was tweaked ever so slightly, but enough that you'll notice a difference when you use it.

The jeweling wax...is it a wax or sealant or both. What is recommended maintenance regime?

I just received the XMT #3 and #4 swirl remover as a gift from a recent sale. Thank you very much!!!

I noticed when I search for XMT #3, the Autogeek link takes me to McKee's 37 Fast Compound so I am assuming it the same. Is it?

Is there a product that replaces the #4 Heavy Duty Swirl Remover?

I just tried it out on a set of headlights to remove sanding marks and it was nice to work with.

How do the other polishes relate?

I posted this in Mike's introduction thread I'll post here too.

I had the pleasure of working on that 1940 ford, and we used McKees new line.

This line is the real deal, the polishes are amazing.

Long work time is not the word for fast cut, more like infinity buffing cycle.

This stuff plays so nice and works nice and wet making the polishing experience very nice, I thought I was using a finishing polish on the compounding stage, as well as easy wipe off.

The polish same amazing properties, and the jeweling wax is a really nice unique feature, and just like Mike said

"Jewiling wax is something this industry has needed for a long time"

It has a very mild abrasive in it, what so special about that?

Well your getting the benefits of a real 3 stage polish, not just a compound, polish, then wax.

Your compounding, polishing, JEWILING the paint while adding protection!

Not just compounding, polish, then wax, your getting the benefits of using that nice soft wax pad , while polishing and protecting that paint to a high shine

Ya sounds sweet right ? That's because It is!

So it's like a 3.5 step, awesome stuff.

Bob McKee knocked it out of the park with this lineup.

Look out for my reviews.

is DP going away completely? I think the low price point of the products filled the void between all the pbmg line up.

also can we get a list of what was completely brand new and what was tweaked

Just purchased some McKee's 37 products...

Fast Wax
Jewelling Wax
Total Interior Cleaner

...and some other goodies.

We'll put them to use once it stops snowing here in the upper midwest. Jealous of you Florida guys.

Thanks AG!
