I was on a lovely bike ride on Sunday when I drove by this local dealership and almost threw up.

This is a 2003 Expedition and they let a monkey put a rotary to it. Photos don't express how bad it looked, it was unreal. Here a few from my iPhone:

Unreal!!!

i thought the Benz i seen the other day was bad...you can see the swirls behind the halograms in the last pic

OMG. I bet they are selling that as a special paint job. Amazing what some people will say is a finished job.

those are the new and improved ghost flames lol. its crazy that some people actually think your paint is suppose to look that. i saw a Z8 that looked like that and offered to fix it for the guy. he said he just thought it was really "shiny". poor poor car.

ommmggggg thats the worst i have ever freakin seeenn

i dont think i left paint like that ever. not even when i first learned how to use a rotary.

Man that's impressive. It must have been the monkey's first day on the job.

Wow looks like some one got a little carried away with the :buffing:

You know, when I first tarted using the rotary that was always in the back of my mind "holograms" but I wish I could have seen that picture much earlier during my rotary learning curve hahahahaha

Oh wow. Looks like they did it on purpose or something, geez!

WOW! How is that possible? man, hope he is not a detailer!

looks like they put the rotary to it but forgot to put anything on the pad...yea that's it....a dry rotary application with a wool pad....

I think I could finish almost that good with nothing but the backing plate :buffing:

OK you pros out there, here is the challenge:
How would you go about fixing this mess?
What products would you use?
How long would it take?
And finally,
How much would you charge?
