Hey detailers!

I wanted to know what you think has been the "game changing" product in the last year?
I always feel there are new products being released but nothing that every detailer "must" get now.

Is there something I should look at?

Thanks!

So looking those up those are simply just brands. Do they offer a revolutionary product that I should be aware of?

I haven't tried every offering from each of those, but I have tried quite a few of each and have yet to be disappointed. Quite the opposite, I have been in awe of the results.

•Newest game-changer?
-Does this old adage ring a bell?:
"The more things change,
the more they stay the same".

Well...IMO: that old adage, itself,
is about to face a change.
(This is predicated on a breakthrough
in the field of Materials Science.

TO WIT:
"Tunable" Peptide Nano-Structures

Abstract:

-Peptides are strings of polymers
composed of amino acids.
{sounds vaguely familiar :)}

-By allowing/("tuning") these particular
polymers, to continuously reorganize their
sequences...(think cross-linking on steroids)...
they will eventually form syn-nanopolymers
(paint sealers) that are best suited---more
attuned, as it were---to the environment.

-Result?
Once & Done Forever LSPs.

•Stay tuned for further developments!!

When will this happen? Are players in the market about to come out with products like these soon?

Are you using a coating, and looking for a wash product that adds to it and cleans well ??

How about a great quick detail spray with reflection and anti-static ingredient ??

Or perhaps one of two great tire dressing and protectants ???

McKee 37 Gloss Tire Gel

So many more of mention (like Wolfgang Uber Rinseless, McKee FastWax, and Wolfgang Uber Coating) .... perhaps not the newest, but certainly each has benefited the original product design and exceeded my personal expectations.

Now if $$$ were available .... A Rupes Short Handed Ibrid Buffer would be in my personal arsenal. That's some of the newest and best of products.

CarPro Essence is the "game changer" for me. Makes coating a car much easier. Still waiting for my bottle of Essence Plus to be this years "game changer".

ThinPro pads.

Makes my Porter Cable DA work much better.

Makes my Girot's 3" a more useful tool ( pad actually rotates at speed 4).

Easy to clean.

Easy to use.

Wish they made them in 1" and 2" so I could use with my Rupes iBrid.

Here too. Just started using Essence after hearing so much about it here on AG. Have done 3 vehicles and followed up Essence with McKee's 37 Paint Coating and loved the results. I've since used Essence Plus on my car and love it too. Can't say my car was in much need as I do take spectacular care to insure it's nice but I couldn't wait and had to try it out. :)

I hate to think of not only the cost but the business implications of a "permanent" LSP!

I've said for years that if somebody made a product that fills in scratches (instead of grinding them down) ... and the product lasts months or even years, they couldn't make the stuff fast enough. I've always wanted to be able to fill in the valleys (instead of grinding down the mountain) to get the same results...essence plus
